Title: Put It Behind You

Interesting how you included Lynxana from the old Marvel comics. Her personality is just like it was in the comics, too; she wants nothing more than to erase the ThunderCats from her history. Lion-O is damaged goods at this point, but Jaga refuses to give up on him. The other ThunderCats, and especially Felina, finally move on from Lion-O with the Warrior Maidens' help. Again, I commend Spaced Angel on the WMs' background.

Title: Shadow Play

WilyKat blames himself for Lion-O's death when no one else does; that's gotta be tough for him. What a great job you're doing with Tygra, as his role as the ThunderCats' new lord is tough on him. Felina wanting to bring back Lion-O reeks of foolhardiness. As for Lion-O's spirit...it seems he's truly alone now. An emotional rollercoaster for everyone in this story.

Title: The Slim

It's never easy, losing someone close to you. They become a part of you over the years, and when they die, a part of you dies with them. That's exactly how the ThunderCats feel this chapter with the loss of their leader, Lion-O. Felina is especially taking it hard.

Title: Heavenly Nobodies

The New Thundera subplot with Torr was intriguing. The signal the ThunderCats receive back on Third Earth could be a trap, yet Lion-O is convinced he should lead his people to a new age. Jax meeting up with Grune is a definite sign of dark times coming for the ThunderCats.

Title: A New Decade

I had a lotta fun reading Era One, and this prologue to the second era starts off incredibly. Ten years in the future, the ThunderCats are living their lives in peace and are enjoying themselves. The same can't be said for Jax, who -- after sixteen years of being on Plun-Darr -- begins to feel hatred for the ThunderCats after Felina doesn't recognize him. I feel for Jax. Really, I do.

Title: In A Magic World

This is the chapter that introduces two new members of the ThunderCat clan. The main ThunderCats go forth to Mumm-Ra's pyramid to not destroy him, only conceal his power; they succeed on that. Felina giving birth to her twins is a joy to behold. It seems like the next generation of ThunderCats is pretty much secure. ^o^

Title: Last Goodbye

This was a pretty long chapter. You depicted the differing couples quite well here. I like Pumyra and Bengali's characterizations in this fic because they don't act like caricatures. Cheetara and Tygra are written like all couples should be -- accepting of each other and who they are. Panthro and Nayda seemed like they could be a couple but are too focused on their duties. And the most interesting couple, Lion-O and Felina, has reached their limit with each other and are now just friends. All these couples to me help this chapter stand out.

Title: Only

Good of you to bring in the mercenary Captain Shiner -- though his appearance in this chapter was brief, you wrote him well. The rest of the chapter played out especially well with the Grune/Mumm-Ra interaction, Grune ruthlessly torturing Lion-O, the three missing Thunderians found at last, the 'Cats ordering Ratar-O to take them to Mumm-Ra's pyramid to battle the demon priest, Lion-O and Felina's aftermath makeout session, and Grune mentally swearing to vanquish the 'Cats. I seriously thank Jaga there are writers such as yourself who love the "ThunderCats" brand.

Title: Overkill

The arrival of the Mutant warlord Ratar-O arouses even more trouble for the ThunderCats. His encounter with the Mutants before him and their local "benefactor," Mumm-Ra, doesn't seem to shake his ideals. Since the Mutants learned of Felina's pregnancy, Lion-O has constantly been smothering her much to her chagrin. With the Feliner rebuilt, the ThunderCats head to the destined location of their three fellow Thunderians only to deal with Grune, who's still smarting from the fate he was dealt with back on Thundera, and Mumm-Ra himself, who wants nothing more than to exterminate them on the spot.

Title: Science of Silence

It's so amazing how you're able to handle the subplots in this story. Tygra and Cheetara dealing with Velouria's deafness, Monkian's interactions with his fellow Mutants and Warrior Maiden Arilla, and Lion-O and Felina coming to terms with raising a child together are all very realistically developed. I love how you're expanding on the characters and raising the stakes for them. ^-^

Title: Shotgun Down the Avalanche

Good ol' Snowman and Snowmeow, offering Lion-O, Panthro, and Felina shelter when the Feliner broke down on them. Snowman was pretty generous in offering them a feast and guest bedrooms. It was so heartbreaking that Lion-O chose to end his romantic relationship with Felina, leaving the latter ThunderCat distraught. But they have more pressing issues, like finding the three missing Thunderians.

Title: The Last Time

Mumm-Ra and the Mutants make their grand return in this chapter, and as usual they give the ThunderCats a hard time. However, a mishap allows the 'Cats to prevail. And things between Felina and Lion-O seemed to go so well until Felina's embarrassing slip. They just can never catch a break. Onward to the next chapter!

Title: Standing At The Gate

Spaced Angel should be commended for expanding on the Warrior Maidens and their way of things. That example definitely comes through this chapter, as does the continuing Lion-O/Felina drama. Arilla's interaction with Felina, though feigned, was quite womanly. After all, you and Spaced Angel are especially women.

Title: What Difference Does It Make?

The subplot involving Monkian and his "source" is pretty well thought out; it would make sense that the Mutant would have a human relaying information to him, not an animal. And I felt the tension between Lion-O and Felina over their arranged marriage, the missing Thunderians, and who knows what else. I don't believe that tension will evaporate anytime soon, which is why I'm sticking to your story, Purrsia. ;)

Title: Red Mosquito

The ThunderCats find Tygra on an island that the Whirlpool of Infinity took him to and reunite with him. They fight off the Mutants as usual; afterwards, Lion-O and Velouria get the red mosquito flu and get sick. After a long night at Cat's Lair, their fevers pass, and now the search is on for the three Thunderians that used to be on that very same island.

Title: Invisible Man

As Tygra is bested by the Mutants and dumped into the water, his fear of water is greatly expanded upon through flashback; he was a teen on Thundera enjoying a nice, relaxing swim after a hard day's work, when suddenly a mysterious beast pulls him into the depths. Tygra, of course, survived that ordeal, but the image of that beast will forever dominate his inability to swim while visible. But invisible, he *can* swim, like in the "Fireballs of Plun-Darr" episode. An earlier chapter I read detailed Panthro's fear of bats, so this chapter has Tygra's fear of water perfectly nailed.

Title: Runaways

Lion-O pondering his connection with the Eye of Thundera and Jax being back on Plun-Darr are signs of things to come. It's so great that a "ThunderCats" fan like yourself is able to take such incredible care of the characters we're very much familiar with, even characters you create.

Title: The Devil You Know

The brief little history lesson in the Book of Omens was so very intriguing. The ThunderCats' and Mutants' ancestors, the Eye of Thundera, the humans -- it certainly gave way a future where ThunderCats and Mutants alike would feud over the eye. You, Lady Purrsia, are a true genius.

Title: Deliver Us From the Elements

The ThunderCats have braved the literal storm that could've done them all in had it hot been for their steely resolve to uphold their code. In the midst of it all, a new Thunderian has been born into the world of Third Earth, meaning that the 'Cats' legacy shall continue forevermore. ^-^

Title: Whatever

I feel for Jax. He's been dealt a heavy hand in his life. His parents (his abusive father and drunk mother) have never had the time to be there for him and see things from his point of view. He's an OC I greatly care for besides Felina.

Title: Bizarre Love Triangle

The flashback with Jaga, Felina's mother Leonda, and Grune was very real, raw, and riveting. It was a tangled web they weaved. It only compels me to read much more of this fic.

Title: Defender

Highly dramatic this chapter is. The quest to save Panthro was tense and deadly (the latter part being Panthro's title). You did great in showing the ThunderCats and Mutants' inner conflicts. The 'Cats survive the Mutant encounter at the cost of one of their own, which saddens them greatly. I liked the end of this chapter with Lion-O at the 'Cats' royal flagship's crash site, where he discovers and reads a letter by his late father, Claudus, about why the 'Cats uphold the Code of Thundera.

Title: Egoverride

Lion-O and Felina exploring Mumm-Ra's history was very interesting to read, and so was the fight with Grune and the Mutants, which ended with Panthro and Jax's captures and Cheetara's unconscious, pregnant body. The magic is still within you, my friend, and may it never, ever leave you.

Title: Everything Falls Apart

Once again, you portray the characters with realism. Everything about this chapter got me hooked -- the Bolkin Bar fight scene, the Felina/Lion-O interactions, Felina's capture by Mumm-Ra and the Mutants, the showdown at the demon priest's black pyramid, and the resolve by Felina and Lion-O to explore Mumm-Ra's past. I promise you, Purrsia, I haven't forgotten "Signal in the Sky"; I've just been preoccupied lately with other things. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Philip. I haven't forgotten about this story either, someday I'll finish it! So I hear you about preoccupation :) Thanks again for taking the time to read and comment. It means so much.

Title: Destination

Felina's dream moved me deeply. Her having to witness her homeworld's death was horrifying. Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O were in the r0;dreamr1; too, and I suspect they'll play a larger role in the story later on.
Author's Response: Thanks for all your comments, Philip. Sorry I missed many of them - looks like efiction either stopped sending me notifications of comments and/or they got lost in a spam filter somewhere. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you were enjoying the story. Really hope to start writing again, if real life issues permit!

Title: Reign of Blows

The horrors of war are weighing heavily on our dear ThunderCats. It was very honorable of Felina to rescue that jackal kid from certain doom. A ThunderCat's job is to help other living beings, after all. May Panthro recover from the attack by his own ThunderTank.

Title: Tenderness

Lion-O and Felina have as much time as possible to get to know each other before fully integrating into their marriage. It's not gonna be easy for either of them, but they're gonna find a way. All they need to do is trust each other. I'm totally digging this story now.

Title: Powerline

Felina was just about to abandon her scholarly duties when that Ergus creature showed up and rampaged Third Earth. If Felina hadn't stepped in to save the day, the whole planet would've been doomed. And she even coached Lion-O on how to defeat Ergus by using the powers of the Book and Sword of Omens. She and Lion-O make a great team.

Title: Great Fire

Another excellently written chapter. Mumm-Ra and Grune were truly portrayed as villains as they destroyed the Emites and their village. The Felina/Lion-O moments were touching at the end, as they inspire Felina to become a better cat.

Title: The Lifting

Really dramatic this chapter is. You're pitting the ThunderCats against very dangerous situations while keeping them in character. And Purrsia, I'm sorry for calling you Knight Writer when I reviewed the last chapter. I was only thinking about him when both of you as well as spacedangel have a hand in this tale. :-)
Author's Response: No prob! Easier to credit everybody over all than keep changing it by chapter. The first 19 chapters I wrote and actually have rewrites to do so they're more up to par with the chapters I got help with (not to mention my own writing style has changed since 2001, when I started writing this). I think if you hang in there you'll really like those co-authored chapters - from chapter 20 on Spaced Angel co-wrote until the last few chapters that were published, Knight Writer came in. Keep meaning to get back to this too - it's only half finished as published. Thanks again for reading, and do feel free to leave feedback. Concrit also very welcome!

Title: Maps and Legends

Well, I just happened to come across this joint-ventured story, and I'm already getting into it. The character of Felina is pretty interesting. She's gonna add a whole lotta balance to the forces of good and evil on Third Earth. I'm already eager to read the rest of this fic that you, purrsia, and spacedangel came up with.
Author's Response: This fic is actually Purrsia's baby. Spacedangel came on to co-write it first, then I did. ^_^

Title: House That We Used To Live In

Nice to see that you are still writing:) In Jungian Psychology, the house is a symbol of self and soul, so the destruction of Cats' Lair while the cats watch and slave is a great touch. I'm stil betting on Tygra though.

Phew! I'm all caught up with this story now... and sad that there's no more of it to read. I like how you're keeping the Thundercat that died in the loop and how you're handling his separation from the mortal plane. Tygra's shaky confidence was nicely handled also. I'm wondering what'll happen if the trial he insists on comes to pass. Great stuff. :D
Author's Response: Wow, I'm impressed with the speed you got caught up! Thanks for your reviews and kind comments. I'm glad you've liked it so far, and hopefully it won't be too much longer before I get the story rolling again.

Title: Your Ghost

I've still got a few chapters to go, but there's lots to comment on in the first few installments of the second era! I see I reached the point where you had previously mentioned a main Thundercat would die (not mentioning in reviews to avoid spoiling anyone). I was surprised at your choice but it's made for interesting twists. I'm enjoying the various arcs and I also like the AU way New Thundera and Torr and Lyxnana were woven into your storyline. The descriptions of the way the Astral Plane works and interactions with Jaga were also a nice touch.

Title: Trouble With Dreams

The end of Era One seems to be a good time to leave you a review on this story so far. I've enjoyed the story quite a bit as I've read it and it would be impossible to comment on everything, but there are a few things that I really enjoyed.
Bringing Grune back to life was an interesting twist and I enjoyed how you had the mutual enemies of the Thundercats working together and against each other as we've come to expect. I know you aren't planning to bring the Lunatacs into it, but if you ever did I would get a kick out of it! Ratar-O's end was pretty ironic, and it had that "kicker" feel to it that I enjoy in stories. Your decision to have Lion-O and Felina not work out romantically but in the end live as friends was different and definitely not what one would have expected, and I admit the romantic in me would've liked to see it work out, but it's cool that you took the road less traveled with those two.
The way you worked Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O into this AU universe was nicely done and I'm glad you chose to include them. I also enjoyed the subplot with Monkian and his source. You gave the warrior maidens a lot of story and depth in this tale and I thought that was great as they're my favorite of the Third Earth native races.
I'm looking forward to seeing what changes the second era will bring. Nice work and kudos to both you and Spaced Angel!
Author's Response: Thanks cheeze! Glad you like it so far, and I appreciate your taking the time to leave a review.
Originally, it was going to work out in the end for Lion-O and Felina, but as things progressed, it opened more doors later on for me to write it as a failed attempt. Seemed more realistic too, given the circumstances, and less of a mary sue cliche.
I have to say, a lot of the creative credit for the Warrior Maiden background is due to Spaced Angel's efforts. She added some nice cultural touches and detail I wouldn't have thought of, and yeah it's pretty cool!
As for the Lunies, don't write them off yet. Originally, I was going to leave them out but you'll see when you get into era two and some of the New Thundera scenes, that their existance is hinted at - which is a set-up for an arc in Era 3. I thought adding them might be too much for an already sometimes bloated story, but now I think adding them in Era 3 will freshen the story with 'new' characters for both sides to deal with. I will just have to watch more season two to brush up on their characters!
Thanks again for reading.

All i can say is wow! It killed me to read the last Chapter (19) because i knew you hadn't finished it. I beg you to finish this story!! Your brilliant. This story really brought me back to my child hood and i loved it. I don't get time to watch cartoons any more because work gets in the way so i get comics and read now.
Author's Response: Thank you, Stephen! I do plan on finishing this story...someday ;) I have to get some things sorted in my head, of course, but it's on my list of things to do. I have to admit at the moment I'm more into writing Voltron fiction. I do, however, hope to get back to this fic - it's my first one and most ambitious project to say the least. It'd be nice to see it through.
Again, thanks for the kind words and taking time to review. I appreciate it!
