WonderCon Trailer
Article by: Purrsia

In early spring, 2011 a new trailer debuted at WonderCon. This newest trailer has some narration, giving us more insight to the storyline, and we get to hear some characters speak as well.
I've included screen captures and they are presented in sequence on this page (visit the gallery of the site for groupings by character). The source video was fantastic so many of the full sized images (which can be found in the gallery) are wallpaper worthy.

Lots has been learned since the first trailer debuted. First of all, we now know this isn't the planet Thundera. Apparently the setting is Third Earth, the cat folk being just one of the tribes there with their own Kingdom of Thundera. Looks like a war breaks out between the reptilians and cats, and instead of a whole world of Thundera being destroyed, it's likely the kingdom will fall. I'm thinking it'll be up to Lion-O and his band of friends to restore their kingdom. Something called the stones of power come into play as well, but their exact role is unknown at this time.

I also learned from my good friend Sonia that the original theme will be used, but it's the only part of the original score retained. Still, that's a pretty cool nod to the old show, and you can in fact hear some of that theme's notes play in the closing of this trailer.
